Veterinary Ultrasound

November 19-20, 2005

Ultrasonic exam

The first day offered a basic course designed for veterinarians and veterinary technicians who had little to no experience with diagnostic ultrasound. The second day consisted of an advanced course for those who possess some knowledge of veterinary ultrasound.

Dr. Tony Pease and Dr. Karsten Schober presented a simplified review of ultrasound physics and technology. Efficiency of examinations and medical records were emphasized. The courses also reviewed choices in purchasing equipment and related the various components to clinical tasks.

Participants felt that the course met their educational needs and found the speakers to  be very informative and helpful.
