The Mouse Phenotyping Shared Resource (MPSR) is supported by the Department of Veterinary Biosciences and by the OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center, and is located at the College of Veterinary Medicine in the Department of Veterinary Biosciences. Services include comprehensive gross and histologic examination of genetically engineered mice and selected immunohistochemistry, and special morphologic techniques. In addition, the MPSR provides a referral service to experienced scientists within both the Department and the OSU research community that can provide expertise in animal model development, in study design, in specialized research techniques (including optimal sample collection), and in data interpretation.
