Computer must mbe on CVM campus, University owned, and currently supported.

Install SSL-VPN NetExtender

Request that NetExtender be installed on your PC or MAC. Requests may be sent to vishelp@cvm.osu.edu.

Set up NetExtender

Open the NetExtender application and enter the following information:

• SSL-VPN Server: cvmvpn.vet.ohio-state.edu
• User Name:  firstname middle_initial lastname (*see note below)
• Password: same as your CVM\username password
• Domain: CVM LDAP

Note: This name may be different from your normal login name, as it uses your full user name for authentication. This name should be provided when the SSL-VPN NetExtender access is installed and established by the Help Desk.

From this point, file access will be similar to access via a fixed LAN.
