SIGNALMENT:

  • Species: Bovine
  • Breed: Holstein
  • Age: 1 year
  • Sex: Male

HISTORY:

This bull was presented with a complaint of chronic unilateral discharge of several months duration involving the right eye. No treatment was attempted. The bull is owned by a breeding operation and has been at their facility for the past 4 months. The periocular areas of alopecia are ringworm lesions and not related to the current problem. The mucus discharge is stained with flourescein and was grey-white in color prior to staining.
