History:
Bo was presented to the Emergency service for evaluation of a possible foreign body. Approximately 24 hours ago, he was given a cooked ox bone with a small amount of attached meat, which he immediately swallowed. Since that time, he has had some drooling and repeated attempts to swallow. Last night he ate dry food but it came up within 5 minutes after eating. It was undigested and a small amount of fresh red blood was present.
At this point, you would like to perform a physical exam and
run some diagnostic tests.
