History:
Balai was presented to the OSU emergency service for bloating. She ate around 3:30 pm this afternoon. At 5:30 she vomited white frothy foam, seemed nervous, and then started to bloat. Balai has a history of intermittent vomiting over the past 3-4 years. Usual frequency was 1-2 times per month. Now the vomiting occurs 2-3 times per week. The vomiting has occurred up to 18 hours after eating and consists of undigested food. No blood or bile is noted.
At this point, you would like to perform a physical exam and
run some diagnostic tests.
